A historical theater with museum volunteers at the castle.

From San Francisco to Lenzburg, from singer to castle mistress: Emilie Wedekind-Kammerer led a turbulent life. Time and again, she had to assert herself and her children's interests. In 1872, her husband bought Lenzburg Castle without her knowledge. Twenty-one years later, she found a buyer for the "pile of stones," thus saving her children's inheritance.

In the play "Emilie Wedekind-Kammerer – A Woman Stands Her Ground," performed with museum volunteers, the former castle mistress and her daughter Matti look back on a turbulent time.
